Professional success came with their very first album "Duran Duran"(1981). This was followed by three more albums Rio (1982), Seven and the Ragged Tiger (1983) and Arena (1984).
In 1985, he married the model Yasmin Parvaneh amidst great publicity. Simon is now the happy dad of three children - Tallulah Pine, Saffron Sahara and Amber Rose Tamara.
