Leonard Cohen
It‘s 1967 and you‘re sitting in your student digs with a few friends and a cheap bottle of wine, and of course you are all listening to The Songs Of Leonard Cohen, which just compounds your misery, if you were suicidal you certainly wouldn‘t be encouraged to listen alone.
Cohen was thirty and a successful Canadian writer and poet when the album was released. Timeless classics like 'Suzanne', 'Bird on a Wire', and 'Sisters of Mercy' were all on this original album.

Cohen has over the years continued to produce albums, many with outstanding tracks including Halleluiah.

Cohen still tours today unashamedly citing the need for money as his driving force, his concerts are fairly drawn out affairs, and it is not unusual for him to do eight encores!
