Dylan's Xmas album is not a joke
Baritone rock legend Bob Dylan has released an album capturing the essence of the festive season. Released under the title ‘Christmas In The Heart’, the LP boasts 15 of the most celebrated Yuletide Sing-along’s.
Covering each of these tracks with his sultry vocal intonations, Dylan insists that his latest offering is not a joke. Speaking with the Big Issue, he claimed that ‘Anyone who thinks it is apparently [a joke] just doesn't understand it… These songs are part of my life, just like folk songs.’
Christmas In The Heart is Dylan’s 34th studio album and was released on October 13th 2009. The royalties from the album will go towards benefiting charities both in and out of the US. The LP is released on Columbia Records
